Appendix: Book Preparation Checklist
An appendix holds supporting material that would interrupt the main chapters, such as a checklist, worksheet, timeline, or extended example. If you include several, label them Appendix A, Appendix B, and so on.

- Replace demonstration chapters with your manuscript and use headings consistently.
- Check that every Contents entry and previous/next link reaches the intended section.
- Complete the book’s title, author, language, and publication information.
- Record the sources and credits for quotations, images, and other contributed material.
- Review image descriptions, table headings, text size, and reading order.
- Open the EPUB in your intended reading apps and try different text sizes.
- Check the finished file with an EPUB validator and review any reported issues.
- Remove instructions intended only for the author and keep a dated copy of the final edition.
